American Education Week

"Rules Through the Decades" bullentin board displayed in Kelly High School to celebrate "American Education Week".

Kelly CTA (Certified Teachers Association) had a very exciting week celebrating "American Education Week". To start the week off, Ellen Holford, read some of her favorite storybooks at Barnes and Noble. During the week teachers participated in "Teachers Give Back" and donated items such as can food, mittens, caps, storybooks, and socks. These items will be used to help families during the Christmas season. A bulletin board was displayed in the high school about school rules through the decades and in the elementary, photographs were displayed of teachers when they were in school. Local businesses donated items and displayed "Thank You,Teachers" on their store signs each day to show their appreciation to the teachers. "American Education Week" was a fun week and enjoyed by all!
