Resource Connection Fair set at Cape Junior High School

Connecting parents with available community resources is the goal of an upcoming resource fair organized by school social worker Kayleen Shaw of Cape Girardeau School District. The fair is set for November 10, 3pm -- 7pm at the Junior High School old gymnasium at 205 Caruthers. Resource information including housing, education, employment, transportation, food banks, health care, recreation, parenting support and counseling will be available. Shaw said refreshments and door prizes will be available. Parents of all district students, faculty and staff, and community members are invited to attend.
