County commission opens bids for annual audit

During its meeting Monday the Cape Girardeau County Commission opened bids for its annual audit for 2009 to 2011. Two companies -- Stanley, Dirnberger, Hopper & Associates and Van de Ven LLC -- placed bids. The commissioners referred the bids to county auditor David Ludwig and county clerk Kara Clark-Summers for their evaluation and recommendation.
