November 7th and 8th PETCO at 266 Seimers Drive in Cape Girardeau Missouri will host FOSTERING HOPE, an educational seminar and workshop for all area animal welfare organizations. This workshop is open to the public and will be the first of its kind. The event will allow all interested individuals to meet the representatives of the area's animal welfare groups, ask questions and learn why temporary foster homes are so important. FOSTERING HOPE will tie in with the start of PETCO's National Adoption Days and the IAMS Home for the Holiday adoption drive. Silverwalk Beagle and Hound Sanctuary will have dogs on hand that are available for adoption. This will give the public a chance to meet some of the wonderful animals in need of temporary home care, while waiting for their forever homes.
