Venus Frissell

STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo. -- Venus G. Frissell, 86, of Ste. Genevieve died Oct. 28, 2009 at Ste. Genevieve Care Center.

She was born Tuesday, Jan. 30, 1923, in Chaffee, Mo.

She is survived by a son, Dr. Dan (Bridgete) Frissell of Ste. Genevieve, and a granddaughter, Danielle Frissell of New York City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Frissell; a son, Sam Frissell; a sister, Eugena Ferguson; and her parents, Marion E. and Magdalena Bridgetta (Hoffman) Gisi.

The service was at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Bob Towner officiating.
