Jackson wins the consolation prize!

Great game--especially for Jackson fans! Cape won't get the Sportmanship Award--nice unsportsmanlike penalty in the red zone. Quality kids and great coaching--or is it make do with what u got??? No longer is Central the paradigm of the southeast area--great to see your noses getting rubbed in it now after your decades of arrogance and swagger towards your "Big 8" and Northern Conference foes.

Lot of empty seats

Since both teams went into this game with perfect losing records, one of them was gonig to have to manage at lest one win for the year.

Bearcat, well now since Cape is no longer the paradigm of the S.E area, perhaps you should stay out of Cape Girardeau and do ALL your buisness in Jackson the new paradigm of the area.

Congrats on the win Jackson, maybe next year!

More seats filled than when SEMO plays, I wonder why? Could it be that they play quality football on the high school side, where as SEMO wouldn't hurt anybody to get rid of about half their football team, and come up with some real players?

Well Bill...so much for that mailbox being empty...:)

Sounds like Bearcat66 is holding a long grudge. As far as fans, you must have missed to big fight by JACKSON fans after the game where the cops had to be called with firetruck and ambulance...Little more serious than a penalty in the red zone.

Turd vs. Crap.

Crap prevails every time.

Could it be the weather totally sucked yesterday?

Cape Central had a bad week. They got skunked in the marching band competition last saturday at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis. Rockwood Summit got the trophy. Cape moved up a division this year after winning the gold last year.

Well, Greywolf, since paradigm essentially means "a model" then, yep I dont spend anymore $ 's in Cape's dying mall; dead downtown; over-priced hospitals (e.g., ask P & G or Briggs & Stratton), or even on your gasoline (f.y.i it's always cheaper in Jackson). Since St. Louis is so close, why would I waste the same $'s for inferior quality? U have your memories of when Broadway wasn't the "dirty, filthy Broadway" in Wilson Pickett's lyrics! Oh, and when I was transfered over to this backwoods, my relatives (who live in Cape) said "live in the Jackson school system-our's is horrible, and, dangerous..." bulletman: yeh, i need to get past it--why wasnt a news story like that in the press? Who was fighting "to Jackson fans...?"

Bearcat66,

Wow! I am still doing my best to even understand some of what you posted. Best I can tell is that you hate Cape and prefer to drive 110 miles to do your shopping! Your at least 55 (wilson picket)

gave that away and your not a happy Jacksonian.

Hey, I remember Wilson Pickett..."Midnight hour" great tune. Classic! Now, I hope you settle down because I think your blood pressure is a bit high.

Bearcat66--I couldn't understand your silly response but yes it was ALL Jackson FANS that were fighting by the old First Baptist Church building in Cape, other than that I can't understand what you are talking about..I must not have been born when you had your grievances against Cape..Sorry...BITTER, BITTER!!
