On October 1, 2009 a reception was given for Marvin Adams for being in Business in Jackson with State Farm Insurance for 25 years. Marvin, his wife Sally and their children Marvin Jr. and Julie came here in 1984 from Jonesboro Arkansas where he was the head basketball coach at Arkansas State University. Marvin also served as the District Governor, Club president, Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary Club of Jackson with several year of perfect attendance. Many came by to wish him many more successful years of business.
