WEST PLAINS, Mo. -- A Pomona woman has been sentenced to three life terms for killing her son-in-law and two grandchildren. Pamela K. Burns, 52, received the sentence late Tuesday in Howell County after she pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree murder and three counts of armed criminal action in the shooting deaths of Keith A. Bennett and his two children, 6-year-old Klover M. Lawrence and 4-year-old Keith A. Bennett II. Police said they found Keith Bennett, 28, on a couch in his apartment in May 2004 after his wife, Sandra, discovered his body. The children were found shot to death in a bathtub.
