Irvin - 40 Years

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Irvin of Scott City celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a family reunion Aug. 8, 2009, at Cuivre River State Park near Troy, Mo.

Irvin and Sydney Sleet were married Aug. 9, 1969, at Winfield Baptist Church in Winfield, Mo., by the Rev. William E. Shreve.

Their attendants were Joann Yates, Ruby McQueen and Barb Irvin.

The Irvins have five children, Richard (Kelly) Irvin of Scott City, Theresa Irvin of St. Peters, Mo., Rebekah Irvin of Scott City, Simon (Doris) Irvin of Greenwood, Mo., and Samuel Irvin of the home. They have nine grandchildren.
