Essner - Hilse

Robert and Linda Essner of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Dawn Essner, to Adam Earl Hilse. He is the son of Mark and Sue Hilse of Bourbon, Mo.

Essner is a 1998 graduate of Central High School, 1999 graduate of EMT-B school, and completed paramedic school in 2009. She is employed full time with Cape Girardeau Police/Fire Dispatch, and part time with Steelville Ambulance District.

Hilse is a 2002 graduate of Bourbon High School, and a graduate of both EMT-B school and Missouri Sheriff's Association. He is employed full time with Cape County Private Ambulance Service Inc. and part time with Steelville Ambulance District.

An Oct. 17 wedding is planned at Dillard Mill State Park in Davisville, Mo.
