High school roundup: Kelly softball shuts outs East Prairie behind Powell's one-hitter
Kristen Powell tossed a one-hitter to lead Kelly past East Prairie 13-0 in five innings in softball action Thursday.
The game was scheduled for East Prairie but was played at Kelly because the Eagles' field was too wet.
Powell struck out 10 and walked two.
Londyn Backfisch went 2 for 4 with two RBIs while Danielle Dock added two hits and two RBIs.
Kaitlin Glastetter went 3 for 4 with an RBI for the Hawks (12-4).
