Voters can take back America

The political leaders we have elected to represent us have failed miserably. Their dereliction of duty and lack of responsible lawmaking during the past several decades have placed our beloved America in serious jeopardy.

Because of their failure to pass laws to secure our borders, the illegal immigration problem has developed to such a condition that it is almost impossible to correct.

They have capitulated to the environmental groups, preventing our creativity and ingenuity from developing our natural resources for energy independence. They have appointed judges who no longer uphold our Constitution. They are trying to force upon us a one-payer health-care system that would forever place every American under government-controlled servitude. They pass bills they haven't read and the people don't want.

But they are not totally to blame. They feel they were given this right by thoughtless voters giving less consideration to their votes then they would to buying a television set. We are now reaping the rewards of this stupidity.

It's not too late. On Nov. 4, 2010, we have an opportunity to make a drastic correction. We can take our country back. Let's prove that this is our nation, truly a nation of, for and by the people. Vote these bums out of office so they will have to live under the proposed Obama health care program like the rest of us. Wake up, America.
