Nathaniel Carter Wooley, 34, of Cape Girardeau pleaded guilty in federal court to one felony count of possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm. He appeared before U.S. District Judge Steven Limbaugh Jr. Tuesday and now faces 15 years to life, a fine of up to $250,000 or both. Sentencing has been set for Oct. 30. With the plea, Worley admitted to transporting pseudoephedrine pills for the purpose manufacturing methamphetamine. On Feb. 4, 2008, a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper discovered Worley's vehicle in the median and Worley slumped over the wheel. A search of the vehicle uncovered drug paraphernalia and a bolt-action rifle.
