McCaskill holds forum on health-care reform in Poplar BluffTuesday, August 11, 2009
The Missouri Democrat spoke to a crowd of more than 500 people at a health-care reform forum in Poplar Bluff. "There is a lot of misinformation out there," McCaskill said. "I don't mind disagreement, but I just want to make sure we have got the facts." The roughly one-hour forum was held at the Tinnin Fine Arts Center on the Three Rivers Community College campus. Participants were asked to provide McCaskill's staff with questions before the event, and she answered several by random draw. Lilly McCollum of Ellsinore, Mo., asked in her submitted question if the government would be allowed to choose people's doctors or ration health care. "Everything in the bill keeps all of the power with the patient," McCaskill said, adding that insurance companies already ration care. "Nothing in there gives the government the power to make decisions for you." A crowd member interrupted McCaskill to call out, "Not yet." This was one of many interruptions throughout the event from audience members who disagreed with McCaskill's positions. Still, the event was not as unruly as some similar forums have been across the nation. The senator repeatedly asked those present to allow her to answer the questions submitted. "If everyone shouts, it is not going to help. It is not going to provide any information," she said. "I promise you will have the chance to chew on me before it's over." Sherry Briscoe asked if reform bills would address situations like that of her daughter, who she said no insurance company in the state would insure because of pre-existing conditions. "A lot of people are like that," McCaskill said. "What we are trying to do here is tell insurance companies there have got to be rules." Reform can be accomplished without making government central in what doctors do, she said. "I'm not opposed to a public option as long as it is one that is limited and curtailed so that the private sector can compete," McCaskill said. McCaskill used the federal postal system as an example, saying the public had a federal option but could also choose private companies like FedEx and UPS. One Poplar Bluff resident asked if the proposed health-care reform was more about President Obama and Democrats trying to take power. "I disagree, but I respect all of your rights to disagree," McCaskill said. "Hopefully, we can try to find a way forward that is reasonable. Clearly we need health-insurance reform." In response to other questions, McCaskill said several times she has read every page of the Senate bill that has passed committee. Answering a final question, McCaskill said she would participate in any health-insurance plan passed by the government. McCaskill said later she thinks residents of Southeast Missouri would be most affected by new rules for insurance companies. "If they have the nerve to get sick right now with a traumatic illness, insurance companies can say ‘We are not going to cover you,'" she said. "The most important part of the insurance reform is that it makes companies treat people fairly." Following the event, Jack and Edith Armor of Poplar Bluff said they wished some audience members had shown more respect for the senator. "I think everyone here had concerns, but regardless, she is a U.S. senator and we need to be decent," Jack Armor said. He questioned whether McCaskill might be following the party line too closely on this issue. "I'm not sure anyone understands fully the scope of what is being done," Jack Armor said. "I think the misinformation, in part, is fueled by the rush to get the bill out. But [health care] didn't get broken in 90 days, and I don't think we can fix it in 90 days." VIDEO

McCaskill is clueless... the only thought she has is "do as they say...," but her 'they' is the Democratic Party Leadership, not us.
"McCaskill said several times she has read every page of the Senate bill that has passed committee."
Where can WE read the bill that has passed Senate committee?
All I have seen is the monstrosity the House has put through.
She claims she read it many times.... Which one did she read? There are five version out there in Congress right now, I know she didn't read all five. She is toting the party line. I am sure some German people had tough questions for Hitler but was told all would be fine. Trust us as we march you off to camps.
What would we expect her to say? She's a democrat and will say anything in hopes of gaining enough support to pass this bill. You people that voted for CHANGE are now seeing what the man was talking about. This is only the beginning!
The government has no authority to be in the insurance business in any capacity. Dump this socialist rag.
Blog:
Were you addressing your family members with that ignorant, viral spew of hatred BS?
I was at the event in Kennett, and McCaskill was brilliant. While a number of Limbologists in the crowd asked questions right out of the FOX tabloid play book, McCaskill stuck to the facts and even dared some of them to prove their false claims. There were no takers. I also noted several people with packets of talking points printed out from a web site. I am sure it comes as no surprise to most that they were being circulated by the Republican Party hacks, the same Party that claims it has nothing to do with the disruptive crowds. I also noted that there could be 100 people supporting the Senator with one mob member in the center. The press was rather flagrant in doing everything they could to interview the opponents of healthcare reform while bypassing many supporters. Wild screaming seemingly out of control insurance company plants just show better on CNN than do normal people trying to do the right thing.
Finally we have someone looking out for us and trying to address the health care issue that we've been complaining about for years. We have leaders who are trying to explain TO THE PEOPLE instead of hiding behind doors and directing illegal operations. I don't blame citizens for being suspicious - we have good reason to suspect our leaders motives based on our previous experiences, but we did elect these leaders to represent us and we should give them an honest chance to do their jobs. I think going into a meeting and shouting down leaders when they try to address citizens' questions is counterproductive. And if you think all those questions and shouts are spontaneous, you are uninformed and naive. Why would any group put out disinformation and try to mislead folks, if not to disrupt the process. The use of the words "death panel" was surely an attempt to stir the pot. Who do you think sponsors that disinformation? Have you seen the salaries of the insurance companies CEOs? They average over 11 million per year. That's because they deny service to you.
I was at Poplar Bluff, to see McCaskill with my 'don't tread on me sign' second row, front and center...and I had several exchanges with Ms. McCaskill..although I was told how rude I was, and not as nice as her supporters in Kennett. To which I responded "we're nice people, we just don't like being lied to!" The unidentified shout out referenced in the reporter's column above "NOT YET" was me, when she claimed there was no wording that specifically gave the government the authority to make treatment or end of life decisions for you.
Claire is a slick politician. She held a tightly contrived "get her message out in a one way filibustering template" that is all too characteristic of this administration where any questions are demonized as "kooky" and the only "intelligent" person is the person who does not question their policies or their take over agenda. These are threatening times my friend. If you are a lover of our country's heritage of freedom, free expression, open debate, free thinking, free enterprise, freedom "of and for religion", independence, and against government authority ruling every aspect of your life then you are to be demonized as a lunatic fringe person. And if you dare exercise your freedom of speech, and your freedom to peacefully assemble together and air your grievances with your government for redress as is our constitutional guarantee then you are called a member of a MOB, by a community organizer who was pushed to stardom through the back door dealings of the real "Chicago Mob" style politics. And to the predictable posters of demeaning insults thrown back at this post, let me just say. I have received no direction from any politician, I have received no pay from any political or private financier. While you will attack me for standing up against groups like SEIU which are democrat attack dogs, and ACORN and "Organizing for America" which are Obama "TAX SUBSIDIZED" organized political partisan democrat mobs organized, trained and commanded at tax payer expense to do the exact thing they are demonizing and accusing average every-day tax paying Americans of doing. I had to give up a half days work to attend. It cost me money to go. I was not paid through the manipulation of tax dollars for showing up. And this health care bill is loaded with the potential of $billions in payoffs to these kinds of groups who are all part of the democrat party's political action campaign. That my friend is not what this country was founded to be. And I, among many normal civil peaceful work a day Americans will not go peacefully into that good nightmare!
Totally what I expected from you John Adams. You are the only true patriot out there. You are the only one that "gets it". You disrupt, just to disrupt because "someone" has to stand up to the system. YOU are the chosen one. And before you went, you knew you would try to stifle the event. Hell, before you went, even I knew you'd show your rear.
John Adams makes a fine spokesman for the FOX tabloid, I am sure many older adults will tremble in fear reading his quotes from the Glen Beck show. And while you are listening to FOX, and buying off on the nonsense they have pumped up in order to collect millions off of the naiveties you so flagrantly demonstrate. ACORN? You have got to be kidding. It must be a miserable existence for you, FOX tabloid, and the Mighty Rush Limbaugh to spend your days terrified of a bunch of idealistic college kids bent on registering voters. ACORN? The great evil? Now I have heard it all. And all the while we waist print on this kind of gutter sniping, 14,000 more people a day lose healthcare and face bankruptcy. Tick! Tick! Tick.
I do not know John Adams but I would have to say he is focused on the right things. It actually takes foresight to see the problems with government control over anything. Those of you who don't see this really need to be honest about your own selfish intent.
yy4me - you are correct - you don't KNOW John Adams.
This was e-mailed from my friend Bill. It was written by a guy named Stroszek.
Alright, We Give Up.
Dear Republicans,
Over the past week, we have seen your passionate protests and heard your concerns about Democratic proposals for health care reform. We have considered your insightful and well reasoned arguments, and on behalf of progressives everywhere, I am here to say: OK! We give up! We are willing to compromise on the proposals that concern you. You've won! Yay!
In accordance with your cogent and potent criticisms, these are the terms of our concession:
1. We will not euthanize your grandmother. This is the big one, and I really hope you guys appreciate how much of a concession this is on behalf of the progressive movement. Since the days of the Bull Moose P art y, progressives have wanted nothing more than to slaughter old people by the millions. That much is obvious. After all, if we wanted senior citizens to have long and healthy lives, why would we have created Social Security and Medicare? Think about it. Death to grannies has long been the core of progressive policy, so it's not without some consternation that we give it up. So there: no euthanizing old people. You've got it.
2. Rahm Emanuel's brother will not kill Sarah Palin's baby. While this will require us to gut HR 3200 " America 's Health Choices and Murder Sarah Palin's Baby Act of 2009," we're currently working with Henry Waxman to remove the extensive Sarah Palin's baby-killing provisions from the final bill. While this will probably cost us Andrew Sullivan's support, we recognize that this is a necessary sacrifice for securing broad bip art isan support of health care reform.
3. The government will not nationalize hospitals and other health service providers. This is another big one. Though the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has correctly pointed out that current Democratic proposals involve adopting the British health care system, we now recognize that this is not politically viable. The final bill, accordingly, will not involve the nationalization of hospitals and other health service providers. This will be a major setback to Obama's well known communist agenda, but again, we progressives agree with the Blue Dogs that we need to reach a broad national consensus by responding to Republican concerns.
4. We will make the health care reform bill available for all Americans to read as soon as possible. I know that conservatives and pundits have been eagerly anticipating an opportunity to read the final health care reform bill, and after extensive discussion, we have decided to comply with your request. While we would like to have unseen drafts languishing in committee forever, we have asked Senate Democrats like Max Baucus and Kent Conrad to deliver a bill as soon as possible in order to allow the public to read it. As you know, progressives wanted nothing more than to keep these drafts hidden for as long as possible, but in the interests of transparency and bip art isan consensus, we recognize that it's vital to move the legislative process forward. In fact, it is our hope that Baucus and Conrad will return from the August recess early in order to ensure that the public has as much time as possible to inspect their work.
5. We will not subsidize abortions with your hard-earned tax dollars. Despite the fact that both FactCheck.org and Politifact insist that we already made this concession months ago, we're going to make extra-special-super sure that we did. Just give me a second...
...
...
...
... yep, we did.
6. We will not allow the government to have direct access to your bank account. I know several conservatives I've spoken to are deeply concerned about this measure, and while we progressives are always looking for new ways for the government to unlawfully violate your privacy and steal your money, we have decided to remove this provision from the final bill. While we may include a way for individuals to voluntarily set up an electronic funds transfer with their insurance provider, we will no longer push for government access to all individual bank accounts. You've won this one.
7. We will not provide illegal immigrants with unlimited free health care. Though progressives want nothing more than to provide unlimited social services to illegal immigrants while denying them to everyone else, we now recognize that this plan was, perhaps, a bit inequitable. However, while they will not be receiving unlimited free health care, each illegal immigrant will still receive a pretty pony. I'm sorry, but we have to draw the line somewhere.
8. Private health insurance will not be eliminated. Though, as Drudge recently pointed out with a damning YouTube video, the long-stated Republican goal of moving away from employer-based coverage somehow means "eliminating private insurance" when Obama talks about the same thing, we've decided to preserve private insurance plans for those who want them. However, we have yet to convince ultra-socialist Charles Krauthammer to drop his communist crusade against employer-based (i.e., according to Drudge, "all private") coverage.
9. You will not be issued a "National Health Insurance ID." While we thought this was a fun idea, the final version of the health care reform bill will not require you to have any kind of ID when you're pulled over for drunk driving or found loitering outside of a military base. In fact, you are hereby encouraged not to carry any proof of insurance whatsoever. Trust me, it's a terrible idea!
10. There will be no super-secret-awesome health care program for ACORN employees. Though we love our election-stealing squirrels, we have decided that they'll have to settle for the same options as everyone else.
With these concessions having been made, I trust that we can now move forward on health care reform with a broad, bip art isan consensus. Blue Dogs and Republicans, you can now rest easy knowing that the concerns of the town hall protesters have been met. While the progressive dream of a nation in which old people are slaughtered to pay for the abortions of ACORN-employed illegal immigrants will again have to be deferred, we are willing to settle for a bill without these measures in the name of bip art isanship.
Congratulations, Republicans. You've won this round.
No Howdy, just having fun with the Holy Grail.
Hey "the camp" and all you left wing talking point spouters and pouters...give me your evidence of what you say is true. You're just a bunch of left wingers (most likely Obama/McCaskill blog watch dogs attacking any who voice opposition to your take over scheme. You're just blathering Obama deceitful and hateful talking points. And you think it an evil thing that I, one working American who helps pay for all the goodies you people think is a constitutional right, which is not, is a bad person for speaking about first hand observations? There were 600 other people who observed the same thing, and 80% of them agree with me, not you. And are against your twisted agenda under of taking over every major industry that our lives and living depend on, under the guise of Banking bailouts, Car manufacturing bailouts, Cap, trap, and tax phony global warming B.S., Health Insurance industry, pharmaceutical indurstry, Hospitals, and medical care facilities, all under the guise of your phony compassion? Saying everything is free, free, free, to people you've trained to not think or do anything on their own. If you fine upstanding citizens really want to just address health insurance problems, you will check out "we the people" health care plan. Together, we can solve the uninsured of "legal" citizens with preexisting conditions by banding together in large pools of our own volition and start our own health-care plan. If you're not just a democrat party hack, go to https://wethepeoplehealth.com/ and register. 1,000,000 registers by Sept. 12 is the magic number, to be up and going by summer of 2010. The democrat ram through take over plan won't even take effect until 2013 (earliest) even if it gets rammed through in Sept. 2009. Now put you signatures where your mouth is. Other-wise you're just a bunch of political Obama operatives bent on trying to shut down "testing the spirit" type questioning by millions of people like me(which you will not succeed in doing.)
"people like me" - John Adams, you are my hero.
John your statement "I, one working American who helps pay for all the goodies you people think is a constitutional right". Thank God you work so I have such a good life. Oh wait, I work and so does my husband, son and daughter. For a minute and by your statement, I thought you were the only one who supported my lazy a... Get after them buddy, Obama wants us to fail - or wait, that was Rush. Nevermind.
One more thing John, I think I'll listen to Obama - WE (this country) elected him (not you) and most of us want the President to succeed. We want him to lead as he tries to fix some things for US (even if it is a job made tougher by "people like you". Obama's speaking now - I think I'll listen.
These republican are always trying to scare us old people when they get their backs against the wall. Just like George W. Bush told us we would get attacked by Al Qaeda if we voted for Kerry in'04.
Well, I ain't buyin it. I will not be euthanized if this bill passes. Don't you see that insurance companies already make decisions on who gets their bills paid or not?
Wake up seniors. Don't buy into the false fear.
Problem is suelynn, that Obama turned the legislative agenda over to Pelosi and Reid, who have so far used it to funnel billions of tax dollars to their friends (campaign contributers). The WE and US thing, indicative of a two party system, and not all bad. Obama was elected on the wings of some pretty honorable promises - promises that Congress doesn't seem too obligated to help fulfill; and a strong voting segment of America is calling them on it. I'm not sure "most of" you are most of anymore - at least not when it comes to the reckless spending away of our children's future; and taking over health care like it was outdated, poorly run manufacturer. Now the all Americans are being heard, I would suspect just a little more time taken, and some real deliberation on how our challenges are to be met. We will not "run away".
John Adams,
If you don't like this country, and support our President you can leave. You and people like you are nothing more than Communist Neo-Cons trying to derail the American Government and disrupt this great country from getting back on a positive financial track.
Please turn in your Social Security card, and pack your bags. We have a place in Guantanamo for folks like you. Neo-Con "TERRORISTS" are again using fearmongering tactics to derail our country, and incite unwarranted insurrection amongst the constituency.
NEO-CON "TERRORISTS...OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!

(Now, that I do believe that was truly 'tongue in cheek.'...John Adams ;>)
then I love this one....(which was the geniune article) "These republican are always trying to scare us old people when they get their backs against the wall. Just like George W. Bush told us we would get attacked by Al Qaeda if we voted for Kerry in'04. Well, I ain't buyin it. I will not be euthanized if this bill passes. Well grandma, from the looks of the picture you posted, I'd have to agree, you won't be euthanized...as I said it'll be 2013 before the great messiah's salvation plan (for young college ACORN types)kicks in...by the time that wonderful Obama bureacracy gets around to reviewing your case, you'd be 110, and you don't look like you can last that long. (Now that was mean! almost mean enough to qualify me for a democrat hit man) Just remember the Obama quote, "you may not need that MRI, or that hip replacement surgery...you might just need to take the red pill instead of the blue pill. (paraphrased for accuracy of course.)
A big THANK YOU to TheCamp! That letter was great.
Try asking anyone opposed to health care reform to point out where any of the ridiculous ideas they have actually are in the Bills. They can't do it. Try to point out reality and they jam their fingers in their ears and start hollering "LA LA LA LA". Hell that's why 99.9% of them have no idea what is even being proposed.
It would be comical to see so many people rebelling against something they have no clue about, if it weren't so sad.

Isn't that the truth. All they had to do is listen to what is being said.
I just watch Missourians say they didn't Trust McCaskell. Though I'm not a big fan of her, who can we trust? A Republican? LOL! Geez.
Again, this is where the whole "TEA PARTY" thing falls apart. Don't trust the government? Then STOP VOTING! Dissolve ALL GOVERNMENT, and fire ALL politicians. And never never ever elect an official again.
If you're going to "say" you're against government, then ACT don't talk. Turn in your social security cards, stop accepting ANY government assistance (including social security) and work with every fiber of your existance to dissolve all government. IF you can't do that, and this is REALLY about "partisan NEO-CON politics" (and it is) stop lying and calling yourselfs "just disgruntled bi-partisan concerned citizens" everyone can see through you.
"but her 'they' is the Democratic Party Leadership, not us."

suelynn, I knew you had a thing for me... :>) opposites do attract don't they??? But, I have to break it to you not so gently...your hero worship and love for me must go unrequited...chuckle.
Ah, shucks I know you's just joshing me. I know you really hate my guts. Such raw emotion for a senstive compassionate liberal. Glad to hear you work (like me) one less lazy a... we have to support (you and me) Are all you liberals born with this gift of twisting every generalization into a specific identify, isolate, demonize, and try to destroy tactic??? Oh, no, that's right that's your Sol Alenski's "Rules for Radicals" training..I remember now. Love ya dear...don't tell your husband.
As has been noted, there are multiple bills floating around in the Senate and to my knowledge only HR 3200 has been made available on a number of different web-sites. Here is a link for those who would like to see exactly what HR 3200 says:
http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c1...
Considering there is a reconciliation process that is done between the House and Senate, it would seem extraordinary if what is going on in the Senate has no bearing whatsoever to HR 3200.
Claire MAY have personally read whatever Senate version she has in her hands but the normal procedure based on what Claire's Field Rep. described a month ago is to split the bill up and have her staffers read different portions of a bill and then brief her on the sections. Sen. Arlen Specter described this process also in the popular YouTube video saying they needed to move fast (to which he was promptly booed).
The House bill HR3200 is approx. 1,098 pages in length so if attendees brought notes about the bill then that is understandable and shouldn't be construed as some paid, coordinated, effort by the RNC/Insurance Lobby to derail the bill.
So as not to mislead if you are interested in clearing up any misconception, read the text for yourself. Allow me to summarize some of the issues and give you directions on the sections of the HR3200 bill to read.
Sec. 133 - Is there a mandated government audit of ALL employers that self-insure?
Sec. 122 - Will there be health care rationing?
Sec. 123 - Will a government committee decide what treatments and benefits you get?
Sec. 142 - Will you be able to choose your own benefits?
Sec. 152 - Will health care be provided to illegal aliens?
Sec. 163 - Will there be a national health ID card and will the government have direct access to your bank accounts?
Sec. 164 - Are there special provisions for unions and community organization?
Sec. 201 - Will the governments created Health Care Exchange bring private plans under government control?
Sec. 313 - Will businesses be subject to additional taxation if they do not provide the public option?
Sec 401.59B - What are my personal tax implications if the government decides that I do not have acceptable care? Are NONRESIDENT aliens subject to the same tax implications?
There are many other questions such as doctor compensation for specialty that could be asked but I encourage everyone who has an interest in this issue to inform yourself and at least read these sections of the actual legislation.
I noticed watching the video of portions of the meeting (I wasn't there), that Claire asked two questions regarding Medicare, a show of hands of people that were on the program and how many of those people wanted the program taken away. She forgot to ask a third question though, how many people were satisfied with Medicare.
President Obama has been very vocal in the past about supporting a single-payer, universal health care plan. Now that there is such opposition to a single-payer approach, that option is supposedly off the table. That being said Rep. Barney Frank said that he also supports a single-payer and the way to get there is by establishing a credible public option. Rep. Jan Schakowsky also supports the single-payer option, if you don't believe that then look at a You Tube excerpt of her April 18, 2009 speech who says that an insurance company rep. sitting next to her made the comment that a public option will put the private insurance out of business and lead to single-payer. Rep. Schakowsky indicated to that the insurance company rep. was right. She then identified herself as a single-payer advocate and said that the public option is merely a strategy to get to single-payer.
Don't believe me? Watch for yourself?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dT4mV3R7v...
Health Care Reform - Yes, Government Control - No.
Oh I almost forgot the infamous Sec. 1233 which should answer these questions for you:
Will the government provide Advance Care (End of Life) Planning?
Will the government provide a list of end-of-life resources?
Will the government make decisions regarding life sustaining treatments?
Does the Advance Care Planning include an ORDER for end-of-life plans?
Will the government decide what level of treatment you have at end-of-life?
Enquiring minds have a right to know!
Health Care Reform - Yes, Government Control - No
Proof Neo-Cons are inciting civil discourse "purposely." Communists!

Thank you Sarah...you're still good for something. *giggle*
Ainamolagem,
I hardly think anyone involved in the Tea Party movement is advocating anarchy which is what you suggest. The recommendations I have seen is voting out the incumbents and voting in people who are willing, able, and dedicated to the oath of office to uphold and defend the Constition. A novel idea!
Care to cite which section of the Constitution gives the federal government the authorization to legislate health care?
A big THANK YOU to TheCamp! That letter was great.

Uh, hey uh, FreindO, you and suzy and your sweetheart Aingamolagem and your ilk might want to take a peak at the web site posted by mwpatriot. I have weeks ago. I've read the bill. I was prepared with facts. McCaskill pulled a trick by saying that was all ridiculous, because "her senate bill" was the ark of the covenant that would miraculously become law at the snap of her fingers. (paraphrasing of course) But, you haven't read anything but Obama/McCaskill talking points, without any verification, except their own BS. And you're telling me you have, and I haven't. That sir, qualifies me to call you a damn liar. Now why don't you and Ainamolagem, whom I was way to gracious to in my last post, go on down to Gitmo where you want me to go. You want to be my tyrannical ruler when you don't know spit from shineolah...as we say around here; well kinda, (in a kind christian way of course.)
This letter below is what millions of Americans feel (I bet) but I can only speak for me. And no, it's not plagiarism so save that one. Lou doesn't mind, he wants it seen by every American. It's how I feel, however, I don't give into fear and intimidation. I work through my constitutional right to disagree as Hillary Clinton said in her screeching mad witch voice last year. "It's patriotic to disagree, we have a right to disagree with any administration!" (remember that dembos?) So, I disagree with McCaskill and Obama's politics and their radical left wing agenda. And, I am way more respectful to them and you than you fine upstanding liberals were to President Bush or any Republican, or even me. So ruminate on this for a while.
AN OPEN LETTER TO
PRESIDENT OBAMA
Dear President Obama:
You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me. You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you. You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support. You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American. You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don't understand it at its core. You scare me because you lack humility and 'class', always blaming others; you identify with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail. You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the 'blame America' crowd and deliver this message abroad. You scare me because you want to change America to a European style country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector. You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a government controlled one. You scare me because you prefer 'wind mills' to responsibly capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves. You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of living in the world. You scare me because you have begun to use 'extortion' tactics against certain banks and corporations. You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals. You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people. You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient. You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do. You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaughs, Hannitys, O'Reillys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view, to all the liberal bias shoved down our throats. You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing. Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

Billionaire George Soros is pledging $5 million to form a coalition of left-wing Obama groups seeking to slam socialized medicine down our throats. Now how does that fit the template you libs and Obama have accused me of being a part of and being financed by wealthy corporate interests, HMMMM??? I thought that was supposed to be a horrible crime!! Boy sure sounds just like what you kettles are saying about the color of pots now doesn't it?? You're such a bunch of phony hypocrites. I can smell the fear in all of you. Because you know there is nothing more formidable than a tea'd off American (and there's millions of us) who have had enough of being bamboozled, lied to, demeaned, ridiculed, insulted, and abused by a bunch of spoiled pseudo intellectuals who feel they are 'entitled' to run over us and wipe their butts on our faces because of your politically warped world view. Well, sports fans, your day of unopposed TAKE OVER..is OVER! You have awakened the sleeping giant, and he is ******!! AT YOU!!!!
What is with this guy?

Of course people in Kennett supported McCaskill. It's a welfare economy down there.
John Adams' (and all the other lunatics) heads are going to explode after a whopping 8 months of Obama?
After surviving the entire 8 years under the regime of W Bush, let me give you some advice for living with the "other guys" in charge:
You guys need to calm down and save some of that high blood pressure for when he actually signs some legislation. You're shooting your entire wad on phantom laws with made-up outcomes.
We Democrats saved our most vocal protesting until Bush actually wasted a trillion dollars on war, threw away thousands of innocent lives, gave another trillion to the rich, another trillion to the banks, and decided the Bill of Rights no longer applied. TIMING is key, John Adams! TIMING!
You're never going to survive the rest of the man's term hyperventilating at this stage of the game. At this rate, you're going to need national healthcare just to take care of the aneurysms forming in your brains at this very second! Take a deep breath, and do something to relax - maybe take up a hobby? You can help Orly Taitz find Obama's real birth certificate!

Hey FriendO...not really a friend of mine....why don't you try responding to some actual fact based questions and comments with an intelligent clarification. Your Sol Alenski tactics are boring and sophomoric. And, you're also a liar. You guys started on George Bush from day one and never accepted him as your president, and are still trying to prosecute him and Cheney even to this day. Because that is the marxist template of revolution. Once you defeat an opponent in one of your ACORN, UNION THUG Chicago style rigged elections, you then turn on your opponent to totally destroy any chance of him or her ever being a threat to your power again. You spout democracy, democray until you gain power to implement absolute control...and that's called tyranny...and we've drawn our line in the sand. We will resist your and Obama/McCaskill style marxism to our last breath...be that last breath today or 20 years from now... You sir or madam or both...do not control me. I think, therefore I am...and therefore I am your worst nightmare.
Somehow I doubt we will see any health care bill pass anytime soon. Hell the Clinton gang couldn't get it done. This issue is too hot to handle for these greedy and corrupt politicians. I still continue to get a kick out of all you Demopublicans.
As for these Citizens standing up and being loud I applaud them. Its time we let these law makers who have forgotten where they come from and certainly forgotten who they work for know who is in charge!
So what if they speak loudly! I think its very patriotic and democratic! As for our new President, well I agree with many here. Who is he? Where did he come from? He has to be the least known individual ever elected President in my lifetime and perhaps in History. I do not trust him or his Clinton cronies and I do not trust the Government to do anything but take and take some more. How any of you can think that the Government which produces nothing could run a health care system is just beyond my comprehension. Frankly Obama talks a good talk but I doubt he could find his way out of a clear plastic bag. Maybe next election folks will do a little research before they vote for a nobody with NO experience. Hell, it took him several months to decide what type of dog to buy and yet he wants Congress to pass a bill on health care in just a few weeks. Well that didn't happen thank God.
Again, politics has become professional wreslting. When Bush did something, all the democrats screamed, when Obama does something, all the republicans scream. No matter what it is, you guys waste your time, money, and precious air on these things. My God, don't you people get it? You don't matter, no matter what side your on, you simply don't matter. The sun will still rise in the morning and set in the evening, no matter what kind of bill or legislation passes. This life is fleeting, and from what I can tell, most of you probably won't be here too much longer. We don't elect presidents here in Swampeast Misery, or we would have Mitt Romney...

So why did you stop complaining when BO stepped up. Casualties are up and not a word from you guys. That shows you true colors.
Trillion?
I am not amazed everyone is so critical of everything the Government tries to do. The last two Presidents were the ruination of this country and the lifestyle of the people. I'm glad to see people ARE questioning ANY "new ideas" the Government comes up with. The last bunch of ideas were not so hot. Now that just about everyone has been negatively affected by government BS its good they have questions and its no wonder people are angry and mistrustful.
