Jean Miller, 86, of Scott City died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, at her home.
She was born July 24, 1928, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., daughter of Jess and Alpha Harris Hodge. She and Alva Miller were married Jan. 14, 1946, in Poplar Bluff.
Miller was the owner and operator of Jean's Fabrics in Scott City. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Scott City.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mary Margaret Bunting of Risco, Mo., Gayle Flentge of Perryville, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter and a sister.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel, with the Revs. Terry Eades and R.L. Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
