Jackson resident joins Peace Corps

William Lindman of Jackson was recently accepted into the Peace Corps service and will begin training in Uganda. Lindman, 22, is the son of Kevin and Marlene Lindman. He will be working as a community health and economic development volunteer. Lindman, a graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School, attended Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo., to receive a criminal justice degree. Lindman starts his Peace Corps service Aug. 4.
