Several area road projects to start soon

Pavement repairs will reduce Highway 62 in Scott County to one lane from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday. Missouri Department of Transportation crews will work on the roadway from Route AA to Interstate 55 in Miner, Mo.

Bridge work to close Kingshighway lane

One lane of Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau will close Tuesday while Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform routine bridge maintenance. The work on the section of roadway from Good Hope Street to William Street will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Bridge work to reduce Interstate 55 lanes

Interstate 55 between Highway 74 and Route AB will be reduced to one lane while Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform routine bridge maintenance. Work will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, weather permitting.

Perry County road gets repairs next week

Route C in Perry County between Route D and the Cape Girardeau County line, and between the Perry County line and U.S. 61 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane while Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs. Work will take place from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily from Monday to Thursday, weather permitting.
