STE GENEVIEVE, Mo. -- Cletus E. Huck of Ste. Genevieve passed away July 14, 2009, at his residence at the age of 78 years. He was born March 30, 1931, in Zell, Mo., to the late Thomas and Julia (Grass) Huck. He was also preceded in death by his two sons, James and Dean Huck, and his brother, Thomas Huck.
Cletus served his country proudly in the U.S. Army. He was a member and past president of Zell and Weingarten Deer Club, American Legion Post 150 and Elks Lodge 2674.
He is survived by his wife, Armella (Griffard) Huck of Ste. Genevieve; his children, Jean (Randy) Griffard of St. Mary, Mo., Curtis (Kathy) Huck of Jackson, Kay (Alan) Kertz of Ste. Genevieve and Scott Huck of Bloomsdale, Mo. A special family and friend, Connie Huck; grandchildren, Stacy, Cyle, Garrett, Cameron, Dustin, Beth and Jenna; great-grandchildren, Clayton and Levi Huck; brothers and sisters Vince (Clarice) Huck and Marilyn (Tom) Figge, both of Zell, Glennon (Mary) Huck of Bloomsdale and Arthur (Mary) Huck of Ste. Genevieve. Other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral Mass was Saturday, July 18, 2009, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Zell, with Fr. James Hanson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to Parkinson's Support Group, St. Joseph's Church Building Fund or Activities/Garden Fund at Riverview.
