Scholarships

* Jodi Menz of Delta received The Mary Maud and Narvel Hosea Memorial Scholarship and will attend Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

* Sara Wiseman of Whitewater received the Farmer Graduate Scholarship and is attending Southeast Missouri State University.

The following students received scholarships to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2009-2010 school year:

* Cory M. Schlosser and Afton E. Riddle, both of Scott City, and Timothy J. Lester of Cape Girardeau received a MAP scholarship.

* Joshua D. Wiseman of Jackson received a Regent's Scholarship.

Honors, Achievements

* Ben Essner and Blake Amick received second place at the national SkillsUSA Championship in Kansas City, Mo. Lance and Josh McWilson received third place in the skills and leadership contest. The students study broadcast production at the Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center.

* Corey Yount of Marble Hill, Mo., was named to the spring semester dean's list at Linn State Technical College in Linn, Mo.

* Kari Bragg of Cape Girardeau was named to the spring semester dean's list at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn.

Afton E. Riddle

n Elizabeth Caldwell of Cape Girardeau was named to the spring semester dean's list at St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, Ind.

* David Berry of Cape Girardeau was named to the spring semester dean's list at Westminster College in Fulton, Mo. Berry also made the All-Conference First Team in singles and doubles tennis for the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

* Diana R. Harper of Cape Girardeau has been named to the dean's list at the University of Chicago.
