Robert - 50 Years

KELSO, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Theon "Peck" Robert of Kelso celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 14, 2009.

Family and friends attended Mass at St. Augustine Church, and a reception hosted by their children was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Scott City.

Robert and Germaine Dirnberger were married June 13, 1959, at St. Lawrence Church in New Hamburg, Mo., by the Rev. Robert Schumacher.

Their attendants were Carnetta Vonder Haar, sister of the bride; Mary Todt; Mary M. Hess, sister of the bride; Paul Robert, brother of the groom; Lonnie Dohogne and Tony Welter.

The Roberts have five sons, David (Debbie) of St. Louis, Jim (Jill) of Farmington, Mo., John (Stephanie) of St. Louis, Michael of St. Louis, and Mark (Melissa) of Jackson. The couple has six grandchildren and a great-grandson.
