Hazel Beccue

Hazel Marie Beccue, 87, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, June 25, 2009, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 18, 1921, in Portageville, Mo., daughter of Robert Lee and Myrtle Mae Dockery Carson. She and Fredrick E. Beccue were married Jan. 30, 1971, in Dalton, Ill.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jack Virgin of Lake Village, Ind., Gayle Horn of Apollo Beach, Fla.; two daughters, Barbara Quick of Burbank, Ill., Marie Lester of St. Louis; a brother, Charles Carson of Matthews, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville after 6 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rick Crump officiating. Interment will be in Portageville Cemetery.
