If the ATV slowed to make a turn and the motorcyle struck the ATV, then how is it the ATV's fault? I'm sorry for the death of Ronald Carver and Micheal Norman shouldn't have been drinking but I don't understand how Noman can be charged with anything other than possible DUI and operating an ATV on the highway.
Vehicular manslaughter is a kind of misdemeanor manslaughter, which holds people liable for any death which occurs because of criminal negligence, or a violation of traffic safety laws. A common use of the vehicular manslaughter laws involves prosecution for a death caused by driving under the influence.
