Dora May Werner, 66, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005 at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born July 13, 1938, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of George and Dora Wolfe Germaine.
She had lived in the Cape Girardeau area all her life and graduated from Illmo school in 1956. She worked at the Southeast Missouri Hospital business office for eight years.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau where she was a greeter, an honorary member of the Lutheran Ladies Aid and past member of the Altar Guild.
She married Dr. Robert A. Werner July 19, 1959, at Illmo.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Randall Keith Werner of Houston; a daughter, Tracy Diane Werner of Gilbert, Ariz.; six grandchildren, Amie Jo Werner, Jason Scheper and his wife, Dusty, Kyera Werner, Kyler Werner, Kynslee Werner, Kyleia Werner; and a great-grandchild, Corey Watkins.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Douglas C. Brelte officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Grim, James Maurer, Tom Siebert, Archie Sprengel, August Sprengel and Ken Westrich.
Memorials may be made to Living Hope at Trinity Lutheran Church.
