COBDEN, Ill. -- Denny Lee Nobles, 39, of Bastrop, Texas, formerly of Cobden, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, from injuries received in a motorcycle accident in Bastrop.

He was born Feb. 28, 1965, in Joliet, Ill., the son of Denny A. and Betty Blessing Nobles.

Nobles was the plant manager for Cook Portable Warehouses in Bastrop. He also was active in coaching Little League baseball and football teams and was a member of the men's auxiliary of the Caroll P. Foster Post 3455 of the VFW in Anna, Ill.

Survivors include his mother, Betty George of Cobden; two sons, Beau and Hunter Nobles of the home; his father, Denny A. Nobles of California; a sister, Denise Reynolds of Anna; a brother, Larry George of Jonesboro, Ill.; and his grandmother, Mildred Blessing of Cobden.

Friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clifford Heil officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Makanda, Ill.
