Wine Tasting to Benefit Children with Hearing Problems

Friday afternoon the local Miracle-Ear Center in Cape Girardeau will host a Wine Tasting to benefit the Miracle-Ear Children's Foundation. The Foundation provides for education in hearing loss prevention among children and provides hearing aids to children in need at no cost. The event runs from 3pm to 6 pm Friday May 1, 2009. The tasting is hosted by Vance Vineyards and Winery of Fredricktown, Mo. Also available will be Kaldi's from HealthPoint in Cape. Entertainment will be provided by local solo guitarist Kevin Combs. Donations will be accepted during the event to go directly to the Miracle-Ear Children's Foundation. The Cape Girardeau staff of Miracle-Ear have fit 3 children in the last 2 years with hearing aids at no cost while working with the foundation.
