School bus stop sign
A family member is a school bus driver. We were talking about people not stopping for the school bus stop sign. My family member told me that this school year seven police officers have run the school bus stop sign, and the last one was on a cell phone. How nice of our police officers to break such an important law. What if it were your children getting off that bus and someone were to run the stop sign and hit them?

I am appalled at the picture of the scantily clad woman attending the Cape Comic Con. There are decent people who read the paper. Can a more appropriate picture be used?

picture? what picture?...i miss all the good stuff..
School bus stop sign: Yeah, well I love how the bus drivers pop out that sign as you are passing them in the opposite direction. You slow, hesitate, they don't deploy the sign so you move on. But...just as you get beside the bus, they pop out the sign and honk. Idiots!
Indecent photo: Give me a break, get a life, and mind your own persnickity business!
thank you!...
hell , that isn't a bad pic at all ...
Good morning!
School bus stop sign...see, what u don't know, is they have these forms...forms ur average citizen can complete and turn in, u will need witnesses, like the driver, neighbor...i have no sympathy for these morons, cops or not...u will get a ticket if I catch ya...:)
Indecent photo...u r appalled, did u ever catch Wonderwomans get up...geez...relax, ur just jealous cuz' u can't pull it off...:)~
Not much to comment on...so in reference to Cape's budget problems...
I don't believe sales tax revenue is falling because of the increase. Rather, the economy in general (caused by alarmists in the media) which are scaring people into not spending.
I do think Cape's budget woes stems from mismanagement at the top. Public Works, Finance Manager, etc.
What it really appears to boil down to...Cape builds wonderful facilities and then fails to maintain them. Costing the city much more in repair and fix than it would cost in routine maintenance. Who does the inspections, is he/she doing their job, if so why doesn't the city listen to him/her?
Anyone else have information?
Theorist
ya mean Cape city or Cape county ?
i don't mean to be rude but i couldn't care less about Cape city....
Rick...
The city. They appear to be over 600K short...how does this happen?
Here is the link...
http://www.semissourian.com/story/153438...
I find it ironic when these city officials complain about the National debt and can't balance their own. No disasters to blame it on this year...
Theorist,
I'm like you, I don't think Tax Revenues are falling due to the increase in Tax; however, I do feel that tax revenues ARE falling due to continued poor economy, job loss, poor sales, etc.
Additionally, I don't think "alarmists" are causing this poor economy either. (If anything they are keeping the citizenry in check and keeping us from over-spending more) It's plain and simple. The Country is going broke, we're still suffering the woes of inflation and over-priced goods and services, along with a healthcare industry that is slowly (now quickly) sapping our financial stability.
Realistically...Heathcare needs to cost about $30 per month per citizen, an average home needs to cost about $35,000, and an average car about $7,000.
Theorist: Savings usually go up during a recession. People need to pay down debts and save to lift the economy. People have learned that the Keynesians were wrong about two things 1. You cannot spend yourself rich 2. Government cannot fix the economy by increased spending, or by replacing consumer spending, it does it even more harm (Hoover).
Government must reduce spending and lower taxes.
Consumers send signals to the market and the market responds. The false signals sent to the market during the credit bubble must be corrected.
Re: scantily clad woman. For heavens' sake, there's a lot more in the world to be angry about than a woman dressed as Princess Leia in a slave outfit. At least she had the figure for it.
I missed the scantily clad woman pic (darnit)!
Ive experienced the same thing with passing a school bus , I slow & start to inch by then out pops the sign as I'm even or slightly past it.
Another thing I constantly see is a school bus rolling through stop signs without stopping, ( I was under the impression they were bound by the same traffic laws as the rest of us).
"President Obama likely picked a stop in Jefferson County to appear on his high-profile day because Missouri is considered a swing state and is seen as politically up for grabs."
Above from the KSDK announcement that BHO has made his asssualt on the St. Louis area. 100 days in office and he is running for his 2nd term it appears!
Jumy,
about $22,534.11 give or take a penny or two.
Wheels,
I finally got me an old banjer neck. Coming to Cape anytime soon?
I wish there was a way to discuss issues, items without being disrespectful. I genuinely am trying to initiate dialogue and banter without insult.
Calling people names will not make you feel better about yourself, Just Me and My....give it up....
So Happy you asked about the Presidential dog.

Megalo
I am going to try amd arrange a trip in the next couple of weeks. Being reitired really keeps one busy you know!
from beautiful woman to budget...boring....
Theorist, you are as disrespectful as anyone on here, you just go about it in a more oblique manner.
JUMY,
I said AVERAGE car, AVERAGE house, AVERAGE salary. What you would pick or buy or make is up to you. Additionally, the $30 per month for health care is reasonable.
When you go to a buffet you pay $8.95. Now you may go to the buffet once, but another guy may go up 25 times. It's the cost of doing businesss. If the restaurant owner isn't making money on $8.95 per head, then he can either raise his price (reasonably, close his doors, or the folks who think they don't eat that much and $8.95 worth of food can decide NOT to participate in the buffet.
Additionally, this is already the same philosophy instituted through an insurance program. You have a co-pay (presumably) when you visit the doctor. You pay your ($30 co-pay) and you either are in and out with a hand shake and a pat on the back, or you get more tests done, pricked and prodded, and the works. So....do you complain to your doctor because you're not getting as much for your co-pay?
$30 per month, per individual (including children) is very reasonable. You eliminate TAX to pay for it, and you eliminate FREE healthcare. It's a simple solution. The law of numbers still makes this a profitable venture for healthcare bringing in nearly $270 billion dollars a year. If you personally think YOU would be over charged, then go and and pay what you pay NOW for healthcare per month and have fun with that.
Here's Ron Paul's reasoned view about the present Swine Flu situation. As usual he is right on the money. We could have had him for president. What a shame.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TB5-Y08qb...
Ron Paul and Rep. Larry McDonald were the only people who voted against the foolish Swine Flu vaccines that Gerald ford mandated in 1976. More people died of the vaccine than got the flu. The vaccine also injured hundreds of other people with permanent disability.
( Larry McDonald was killed on Flight 007 in 1983 Many people, including myself at that time, believed the government was not truthful in their account of the event.) McDonald was requesting a congressional investigation of the Council on foreign Relations and Trilateral Commission before he "died". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_McDon...
Don't take any government mandated vaccines.
Excuse me KJT...
Mayor Knudtson IS a red head warbler. Or at least a warbler.
Wheels,
Yeah...kinda makes the term "retired" seem like a mute point doesn't it?
Theorist,
You're the most rude, hateful, argumentative, disrespectful, crude, discompassionate, and mean spirited person I've never met. In other words, you are evil incarnate and I have considered getting a Priest to perform an exercism on you. Do we all need to arm ourselves with holy water, a cross, and a wooden stake? or silver bullets? ;o)
JUMY,
I am not placing a exact cost, I am merely suggesting lowering the average costs. EVERYTHING is OVER-PRICED. Additionally, if you're whinging about paying $30 per month in one statement...then saying your current health plan is fine with you in another, you must be getting free healthcare from your employer.
Actually Willy...
I am past all of that...I applaud success when achieved not acquired by 'fault'.
Guess what?....you can't take it with you...are you okay with that?
KJT....
I want to make myself clear...If I offended you, especially personally, I would ask you to excuse my action.
Megal...
Have you seen "O Brother Where art thou"? You remind me of someone.....laughing
and by "it", I mena the discussion ... not "It" as in the warbler).
Constant disrespect....what are you afraid of?
Cyclist...
You are planning for your children, by the way you raise them, the opportunities you give them and the example you set.
Teach your kids a work ethic, to think for themselves and take pride in their own accomplishments. Not how much they inherit...
Theorist
when someone resorts to shouting or name calling they
are losing the arguement....
If a product is purchased it is not overpriced. The provider valued the price received over the product and the consumer valued the product more than the money paid for it.
JUMY,
I'm already in the insurance business. (among other things) Insurance is not the problem, it is merely the reactionary of the COST of medical services, facilities, pharmaceuticals, and all the other little "tack-ons" the healthcare industry over charges for. (Aka...$10.00 per pill aspirins)
Additionally, You and I (or anyone else) wants or NEEDs to make more money. Why? Costs. Case in point, my recent Moped purchase. Last year...the cost of a new moped was around $1200-1500. This year that same moped is going for $2300. Why? Gouging. Consumers were gouged by last years high fuel prices, and needed cheaper transportation. Therefore, there was a surge in moped sales.
Then...the moped dealers doubled their prices to gouge us even more. What did you and me have to do? We had to demand more salary for our services due to the jump in price of food, fuel, and fuel efficient vehicles.
If the average price of a home was $35,000, and the average price of a car was $7,000...then you and I wouldn't have to make so much.
Look at our Ford Stock. Hovering around $5.40. Now, look at Chrysler (hovering around $70.00) See anything wrong with that? What I am saying is eventually the mass over charging will or (is) finally taking it's toll on the economy.
I fully expect there to be a huge adjustment in pricing acrossed the board. Infact, I'm hoping for it. Even with the failure of GM and Chrysler, do you think Ford is going to see a $70.00 stock? Very very unlikely. But that's ok...that SHOULD mean the price of Ford cars and truck will go down.
In closing, we can afford to make less IF the prices of everything else also goes down. And it's not a matter of if this is going to happen, it's just a matter of when.
Theorist,
Aww geez...I was merely adding a realm of sarcasm to KJT's post.
JUMY,
I'm not sure there is ANY comparison on how Cape is being run (ruined) by our city fathers. Government/plain stupidity/or otherwise.
Now....personally, I think they are running it like a bunch of "newbie" oil speculators. Did we ever get that $25 Million wind fall from "Killshot?" LOL! How about that $50 Million dollar windfall we'll get from the Bike Regada?
Willy
Good luck on the knee!
Had two knee replacements last year and all went exceedingly well. Check out the surgeon, a friend did not have nearly the success I did. There are new procedures in the last 5 to 6 years that allow for much quicker recovery with less down time.
Cycle,
Yes...I walked right of World of Honda, got on the net and found a scooter/moped on Craiglist for a third of their price. Additionally, what they did with fuel prices IS gouging. Sure, it was a trickle down for every business affected by the fuel gouging, but the bottom line is Oil Speculator know that Fuel keeps everything in the business world moving. Unfortunately (like air) the United States thrives on Oil. We don't have it, we die. So while it may not be a physical need, it is a "financial" need.
I think (and this is just my personal take)that children who are handed everything, do not learn the pride and discipline they need. For instance, provide a child the opportunity (lessons, sport, skill, materials etc.) then let them earn medals, ribbons, awards, scholarships. They have learned what work and practice will provide.
JUMY,
I actually bought the moped for my High Schooler. (Though I've enjoyed it myself) With as many trips as he take down to CHS during the summer for band practice and what not, I figured it'd save me a few bucks in fuel.
"Healthcare may be different, but most other goods' and services' worth is determined by us."
And you hit the nail on the head. It is different. (Unless you want a death wish)healthcare is a need. Do you want gouged for it? The fact is, that's what's happening.
I was also in the funeral profession for 15 years. Do we want to die? No. But the fact is...we will. Do you want gouged for it? Sure you can adapt, get cremated, but guess what? They'll also start raising the price of cremations.
I don't believe there is such a thing as gouging. Prices are set by consumers.
A thought on American job loses and lack of income: America must learn to make things of value again and if you want to increase your income provide a more valuable product.
JUMY,
LOL! I was ready to pay CASH, and they informed me the CASH price was the price on the tag.
As many times as I haggled prices for people's funerals, I have to laugh when this type of rubbish happens. Like I said, we've become a country of over-charged, over-hyped, goods and services. If you're haggling over funeral prices, you best cut YOUR prices in half. Because I guarantee you, no one wants a dead corpse lying around unattended.
It's just like ditch digging, garbage collecting, ect. No one wants to pay the folks that do it that much money, but ask that same person to personally do the "dirty job" and they don't want nothing to do with it.
BTW. The knee hurts and I am tired of talking about it. Geez everyone want to know what happened.

Funny you bring this up. You go to any restaurant now and the portions are smaller and of poor quality. Yet...the price is double. We've become a society that says, "So-so" is good service, go on and tip the girl."
Do you think this applies to Senator Edward Moore Kennedy?
Besides, it really isn't your place (or the governments') to determine if the children are "worthy" of receiving an inheritance.
-- Posted by socialism_kills_cyclists on Wed, Apr 29, 2009, at 12:07 PM
Yes, I do...as well as George Walker Bush, David Koch...Paris Hilton....
No, it isn't my place (which would be why I prefaced my post with this is my opinion) of ever determining whether someone is worthy or not....that would be God's place.
JUMY,
I don't see anything wrong with dying breaking even. Better than dying leaving a legacy of debt. You come into the world with nothing, and leave with nothing. Sounds pretty fair to me.
LOL!!! I just got one of those blasted Highway Patrol "wanting money calls."
Guy asked me how I was doing and I said Ok, but I wasn't in the mood to be solicited for money. He said, "We're not soliciting, we're asking for donations." Hmm...called me to ask for money? Sounds like soliciting to me! *click*
You have already given your children everything they need....they have you.
Why not do something philanthropic? Be a humanitarian...

"I fI teach him about the importance of religion and instead chooses to be a Satanist, I'll still ahve done my part."
Just because one worships a different god than you do, doesn't mean it's any less of a religion.
Theorist, I think people should be able to do whatever with their money, leave it to their families, dog or charity. If they LEARNED the important life lessons, the rest will fall into place. The notion that u can't have both, money & character is ridiculous.
whazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...up, Cycle! :)~
Why are all Kennedys judged by one? And why are so many on this site jealous of the Kennedys and what they have accomplished? In addition, a couple were war heroes (By Republican standards that makes you unpatriotic to criticize them). We don't blame Bush I for Bush II...or should we?
Just taking notice of double standards. LOL
Welcome back suelynn!
"I like deciding what is worth buying and how much I'm willing to pay for it."
JUMY,
Exactly, but we don't really have a "freedom." Let's face it, some products are still over-priced, even when the "market" doesn't justify it.
I should have pulled one of these on World Of Honda. (I think the skit was on "In Living Colour".
Example:
Me: What's the cash price on the scooter?
World of Honda Dealer: The sticker price, $2300.
Me: How about 50 cents and a jelly bean?
JUMY,
Sure, my kids will end up with something too, but by doing such, kids will just expect it.
LOL....JUMY, the national debt was left there for us to pay to. It's not a debt that YOU will personally leave for them or me for my kids.
To me, that National Debt is a joke. Sure...I'm paying taxes, but is it really going toward paying off the national debt? That thing will never be paid. They might as well stop counting it all up and forget it.
I think this is exactly why I am for a "barter" type system. Each individual paid for his or her individual talents. That way when the doctor kills off enough patients, I could exchange my services to remove them, in exchange for a heart-transplant, broken leg, Swine-Flu vaccine.
Fire Marshall Bill was the ONLY reason I watched that show. LOL!
I don't think that many who demand government interference in the marketplace has any idea of how complicated the market is. As Leonard E. Read pointed out about a number 2 pencil. There is no single person in the world who knows the process of making a number 2 pencil. It seems very simple, but it's clearly not. If a simple pencil is not fully understood by any one person, how can a government committee with less knowledge make decisions on a more complicated product? Stalin finally caught on, why can't a people born into a relatively free market understand this.
Meg: I know you were not speaking to me but, If a consumer purchases a product then its price was justified by the consumer.
Hilleco,
Another fine article on LRC today regarding the subject you just posted about...
http://www.lewrockwell.com/englund/englu...
"Does your child now expect a moped every year since you gave him one?"
No, but my 13-year-old will expect one when he gets in High School. And the 4-year-old will expect one when he does.
I don't see a problem in "helping" your kids and leaving them that "little edge" that will give them a boost. However, a million dollar trust to never work again? Useless, you're not serving any "good" purpose in doing that. Infact, it would be a huge dis-service to a child.
I think overall, kids do "expect" it. We've become a society of convenience. These kids that work in these restaurants have no idea of customer service or pride in their work.
Nall,
Let's face it, some consumers would by a ketchup popsicle while wearing white gloves. Some consumers justify price based upon their own laziness or lack of knowledge.
This is the reason we now get poor service, poor products, and poor pricing. The average consumer "accepts" things as "it is what it is" and never looks back.
Ohh..National Debt. JUMY, regardless...it's just a floating number. It'd be like Mickey Mouse getting a tax bill from the government for $1 Billion. #1, Mickey Mouse doesn't really exist to pay it. #2, if he did, he'd never be able to pay it.
JUMY,
Trust me, huge amounts of money can make the MOST precious children go wild. Look at the former Mouseketeer, Britney Spears. LOL!
JUMY,
Speaking of consumer based, you're building a heck of an argument for the legalization of drugs. Want to invest in the first legalized Mary Jane farm? We could buy off some lobbiest and make a killing on Wall Street. LOL!
I think (and this is just my personal take)that children who are handed everything, do not learn the pride and discipline they need. For instance, provide a child the opportunity (lessons, sport, skill, materials etc.) then let them earn medals, ribbons, awards, scholarships. They have learned what work and practice will provide.

Theorist
Just catching up on my required reading and I am truly surprised at you. that is not teaching these children to be good little socialists... they should share those awards, medal, scholarships etc with their lazy little classmates who were slackers. Otherwise they will feel badly and let down by society. Probably wind up in prison someday on account of it all.
At any moment now, I expect JMAMO to make another Dumb a$$ comment and to believe his own crap and to think the rest of us do too. LOL. Oh and to think he is the only one with an opinion that matters...but that's just my opinion.
He really hates to be wrong...and yet he is so often... Get out your crayons sweetie... Oh, I almost forgot - Hi bi-cycle...
BTW Ther - those two are the only ones ALLOWED to name call. I don't try to interact wtih them any more as I've found it a waste of time...but I do have my fun jerking them around a bit from time to time. I bet they get all twisted just trying to respond. LOL
JUMEMY, that was pretty good...lol! :)~
See wheels...
I have my head on straight....you are the one crying socialist...doesn't mean I don't believe in benevolence, generosity and charity.
JUMY,
Oddly enough, the national debt seems to be on the rise, and never on the decline. (Been the case of decades) Good luck in having the Gov'ment explain to you where it's going.
For the record, I have nothing against playing the lottery. LOL! Maybe if I win it, I can pay off the National Debt.
Turnips, How's your parsnips? Or vis versa. Stars and Bars anyone? LOL! That was pretty good!
Suelynn,
Yep, you can tell when you really get them questioning their stance....they start striking out. It is especially apparent when they talk about you and you aren't even in the conversation....laughing
MickeyD's? *hands on hips, and shaking head* What the ...??? That and liquor will make you sicker. Bar/Barfood. McDonald's/Bar? Makes NOOoo sense at all. I think I'm going to vomit!
Wheels - That is just Its/Warbler's way of saying he believes in the redistribution of wealth ... well, just not to his children.
REspect.....he can't get away from his obsession with my gender....

Becareful your company. Theorist has been labeled as "Evil Incarnate" now. Not to mention hateful, rude, and disrespectful. LOL!

See so very, very easy. Hey buddy, thought you were outta here. LOL. Guess ya gotta have the last word yet again. Darn broke my rule about responding - but knew you'd have to. I remember the time you made fun of me after I said I was headed out so I couldn't resist. LOL
Lumpy, thanks for the link. Very good article by Eric Englund. I think that chapter 7 is the best option for GM and the market.
Megalomania: This article is a good read about your competition.
micky D's and Budwieser !
Nall,
That blasted GM is like a Baltimore Orioles Fan. They won't ever die, they just fade away...painfully slow. :o)
Thanks for the articles Lump.
Looks like swine flu is spreading more. I'd bet a dollar to a donut that Illinois or Missouri will be next.
JUMEMY, now ur just being stupid...u don't waste food stamps, man....u use every last dime.
Rick?? You too? Come now, every consumer of ANY alcoholic beverage knows that when it comes to fast food. Taco Bell is the hands down favorite.
Meglo,
Not new as I posted on here quite regularly well over a year ago when you went by another name and when Herr, Babe, Pupslover, Yagusfarm, Gurusmom, Superbethie21, Poppa, Donnie, Red Rhino, Melange and quite a few others were regulars. I lost interest as did many. I still read sometimes, but don't post.
LOL! Lovely Lady Lumps?? LOL! I must have completely missed that this morning!
KJT,
Theorist...Rude? Hateful? Disrepectful? Maybe words to describe myself, but Theorist? Evil Incarnate maybe. ;o)

Taco Bell and Budwieser is a run for the border....
Gosh, Just_Me_and_My_Opinion, you are just so smart. I get all warm and fuzzy thinking of you. oink! LOL Huh, but that gets me to wondering why you made fun of me when I responded to you (I call it an air-card and it can be used anywhere - in case you are outta the loop on technostuff). Oops gotta take back that "you are so smart" comment.
P.S. I'm so hurt you called me a name...LOL

JMAMO, you eat at MickeyD's and YOU make fun of KFC? And then you call me fat names. WOW oh well - oink yourself and keep a grinning!

JUMEMY...u freakin' lite weight...put the beer down, it's pretty bad when u r stuttering typing....
"We're waiting here waiting on two" ...lol
Busch beer? Headache city! Parking Lot? On Broadway? Hey...let's loiter and cruise! I thought it was cloudy out?
JUMY,
No, No, No...you're missing the point. While drinking (and wanting to eat) you go to a bar that serves food. (like the pilot house) or...you "could" go to Apple Bee's *rolling eyes* or my old 1980s Friday/Saturday night primer... BG's.
After aquiring your preferred level of intoxication it "was" Taco Johns, (but in the late 80s they raised their prices too high, after all...the point of drinking is to drink yourself "broke" and have a few pennies left to eat and pass out on)
However, after the big price increase in 1989. I started going to Taco Bell where one of three things would happen in the AM hours. We'd eat at THE BELL, drink more, get sick and vomit. Or We'd be drunk and beligerant and smash burritos on the inside window of Taco Bell on Broadway and race them. OR We'd order 50 Tacos in the drive-thru, and leave and never pay for them.
Mr. B's was great, but when the cross dressers started showing up (after a night of heavy drinking) we'd make fun of them and get banned.
Then...There was the time we were in Denny's after a heavy night of drinking (I used to carry a flask of scotch) and I dumped it in my soda at Denny's and stupidly ask the waitress to "sniff" my soda because something was wrong with it. Yep...Banned again.
But McDonalds? *tisk tisk* That's where I pulled into while cruising broadway at 16 and drinking and driving. I used it to "dodge" the roziers whenever they pulled behind me.
Just...
I am only going to say this once....
If you want to debate you must speak to me by my "log in name". If you cannot do that, I will not waste my time...
Wheels,
I'll take a couple of crullers. LOL!
JMAMO You kinda remind me of that character in the movie Deliverance. You know the one. I guess he liked oinkers too.
Hey bud, you're the one eating junk food and dibbing catsup down your wife beater, not me.
JMAMO
Now I understand why you are "hung" up on pigs and "pig testicles". You're getting yourself deeper and deeper into the mud. Suey!
there are two ways to get attention
by doing something good
by doing something bad
both ways will get a person the attention the so desperately need
Wow! I love watching internet love blossum. Just look at the electricity.
Hey Deliverance guy keep Sq-sq-squuuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllling!!!!!!!!!!!
You protest too much...must have hit close to your sty. I'm getting under your skin - so very, very, very easy. Keep protesting makes you seem small - no tiny (take that anyway a male would take it). You've been castrated.
Later dud! (yep - that's dud).
Love you too bi-cycle...don't be so jealous. Haven't ya heard from deliverance guy...there's plenty of me to go around.
But hey...were you that other fella in the movie? Darn... Love the way you two loved each other and all you share. Is Iowa the state that just passed the gay marriage law?
JMAMO
Like I said, you've been castrated. I bet you have to squat with that tiny thing of yours. Poor cycle....
BTW, I do like chicken, but I understand you like pork better. Suey!!! Sq-sq-uuuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeellllllllllllll!!!!!!
Two men in a sty...gotta love it - or them - or each other. oink!
Hey bi-cycle, We're going up to be witnesses for you and deliverance guy. Two itty-bitty guy friends.
And just when you "think" you know me.
And you as a dumb-a$$, pig-loving, sty-sharer. But hey, I said we'd be your witnesses didn't I - what more do you want?
And just when you "think" you know me.
And you as a dumb-a$$, pig-loving, sty-sharer. But hey, I said we'd be your witnesses didn't I - what more do you want?
OOPS - that was to bi-cycle - I don't want to confuss deliverance guy.
But at least I'm not CASTRATED like some tiny, little-bitty pig sticker.
And this little (tiny) demostration explains why I usually don't respond to JMAMO or cycle.
Demostration over. LOL
GM can't be far behind Chrysler
Theorist,
I guess i am not going to amount to anything. My parents gave me everything i have every asked for, they help me out in every way possible. I have had a job since I was 14, and only had to pay for dinners when i took out girls(well most every once in a while the old man would hand me a $100), had to pay for the engagement ring i bought, and a few other things. But all that money i got from work went in a savings account for when i got married. But i will almost bet every dollar i have that if my Civil engineering and surveying degree end up to be a bad choice i can always work with my hands. I have always told people i feel that i am the most lucky person that ever put on a pair of shoes. I was told that if i get my Eagle Scout award before i am 16 i can have any car or truck i want new or used, of course i got a truck because i am a man from the country and yes it has loud pipes on it. However my old man told me the same thing he told me about the money i get when he and my mom pass (which will me a long time from now i pray to God) once it is gone there is no more, which means he will only buy me one truck, and that is it. there is nothing wrong with giving your kids money when you die, i plan on working my *** off and making lots of money and giving it all to my wife and kids. And if you are a good parent then your kids will do the same .

You are funny, you should do stand up.
Willy I was talking about Joe and John. Joe died in the service of his country during the war and John was injured in the war and later became president. Bobby worked for civil rights for all. Actually 3 died serving their country. I guess that doesn't mean much, because their dad did something illegal. Many of that family still work for the rights of others...too bad it doesn't mean much or count.
GENEVA -- The World Health Organization has raised its pandemic alert for swine flu to the second highest level, meaning that it believes a global outbreak of the disease is imminent.
WHO says the phase 5 alert means there is sustained human to human spread in at least two countries. It also signals that efforts to produce a vaccine will be ramped up. more... http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/swine_flu_wor...
Efforts to produce more vaccine it says? They already have vaccines produced. Yes they have good vaccines for the people who they want to keep alive and bad vaccines which are a crap shoot if they work or not or worse yet full of more live flu virus. You are in more danger getting the vaccine than taking your chances with the flu.
Either way big pharma makes a killing. ( Pun not intended ) In my opinion anyone taking one of these vaccines is rolling the dice. I do not trust the vaccine makers. If they go to a level six, they will have forced vaccines. You will be a subversive if you do not take it and could be imprisoned or worse. Read the government documents already in place.
They can not pull this off unless the people as a whole say no to the vaccines. But they will do everything they can to scare you into submission or use strong arm force.
I know this subject is not as cool as talking about motorcycles or drinking beer, but if you don't care about yourself, at least care about your family. Please read the Baxter story about vaccines and other published news about vaccines and pass it on to everyone you know. Don't believe the government propaganda. Sure some will say you are crazy and our government would never harm us on purpose, but just ask them how their 401K is doing these days. http://www.torontosun.com/news/canada/20...

are you suggesting that the Kennedys should get some sympathy ?
those rich , fat cats don't need sympathy..they need to live like common folks for awhile to see what life is really like..
Gee Thanks! While I've been outside busting me barnicles mowing JUMY, you've been living it up in here playing tittle winks.
One positive note on expanding the garden (well two) Less yard to mow, and more onions.
Illinios now has a cases of swine flu....

When has this ever happened? mandatory vaccinations, immunizations don't qualify.
Bring on the vaccines~!
re: kennedys, u can't deny the good they have done, nor the bad.
InfoWarrior. with all due respect...how many times has this happened, contaminated vaccines, contaminated meat, veggies, wasn't too long ago that doctors' office had some problems w/cross contamination..it happens, I prefer to think of it as human error, b/c that happens as well.
btw, just out of curiousity, did u have ur vaccinations? the routine ones given from birth-5?
Nevermind, Infowarrior...I did some research, Gulf War, not really forced...more of a hindsight thing, anthrax was never enforced..so....
how many people die from influenze in the US annually, alot...and that vaccine is not mandatory by any means, merely suggested. Heck, kids can go to school w/o their 'immunizations' therefore possibly exposing other children to those diseases. Vaccines are not bullet-proof, I don't think anyone implies that they are.

Does anyone know what is being done with the building on the corner of hanover and bloomfield road? do you know how has bought the building and what they are planning to do with it? we dont need anymore troubles or problems on this block and i have a bad feeling that people who dont live in this area have gotten that building and have nothing but ill intentions in mind.

Meglo,
I would like to help push it to 300, but I am absolutely enthralled by President Obama's speech, enthralled I tell you. I can go to bed now and sleep peacefully knowing we are in good and loving hands, being watched over by a government of such quality that this world has never known.

They are indeed thinning the herd Northwoods. They look at anyone who is not working for them as useless eaters. It's hard to resist when you are sick. Those globalist evil bastar8s think nothing of killing millions of people. They don't care if you lose everything including your life. 9/11 and Oklahoma City were child's play compared to what's coming.
They are satanic psychopaths. Some of you reading this don't believe in Satan or pure evil. I'm not particularly religious but I do believe in God and I believe in evil. It doesn't matter if you believe in Satan or not. They do, and that is what's important. I have studied these people for years and learned most of what I know from people who have observed them from many years before.
Some people say why haven't we been told about these people. Simple. The major news is owned by them and they are not going to expose themselves. And those of us who have exposed them have been ridiculed and dismissed as kooks.
Many of their writings and beliefs are not secret and are out in the open. But their books are so dull and their speeches so dry, that only their fellow believers and those of us who pay attention to them know what they are doing and going to do.
Their evil is so despicable and horrific that the common person does not believe those of us who try to expose their evil. They have a blood lust and they hate goodness. They get power from death. It is too late to try to convince anyone now by suggesting reading material. Most people won't even take the time to watch a you tube video exposing them, but they call people like Northwoods and me crazy.
It breaks my heart to know what is going to happen to our country. It may not happen with this current episode of swine flu and this might blow over, but if not this time it is coming soon.
Janet Napolitano said last weekend that worse stuff is coming.
This country has turned over our sovereignty to the United Nations, The World Health Organization, and the rest of the New World Order.
I believe that the Air Force One flight through New York City this week had an esoteric meaning. I don't know what it was, but I'm sure it was for evil purposes. The satanic people running the world work with magic and signs and symbols. Let's just say I'm not planning any trips to NYC.

Sorry Willy, must have missed it, was someone criticizing your family like they were the Kennedys? One of your relatives was the president of our country? Wow - didn't realize. My point was judging the whole family by what one or two have done and ignoring the good and accomplishments of the rest.
To answer your last question - because they accomplished a lot in their short lives for all America and are recognized in our history books for that...are your relatives?
