Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Shane A. Smith, 37, 801 Good Hope St., Apt. B6, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear.

* Edward G. Spalding, 21, 2503 Peach Tree Court, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

* Andrew M. Freeman, 21, 11 Village Drive, Apt. 3, and James A. Herring, 23, 134 S. Lorimier St., Apt. 6, were arrested on suspicion of assault.

* A subject is in custody pending charges for driving while revoked.

* A subject is in custody pending charged for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Assaults

* An assault was reported.

* A domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

* Money was reported stolen at 340 S. Sprigg St.

* A wallet was reported stolen at 2136 William st.

* Money was reported stolen at 26 N. Main St.

* Rockford Fosgate amps and subwoofers were reported stolen at 341 S. Kingshighway.

* Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported two incidents of theft of fuel.

* DVDs, exercise equipment and household goods were reported stolen at 1328 Butler St.

* A Missouri license plate 053-JXN was reported stolen at 1114 N. West End Blvd.

Miscellaneous

* A peace disturbance was reported at 1107 Merriwether St.

* A 49-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* A 52-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Mary E. Headrick, 31, 108 W. Adams St., Apt. 2, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain a single lane.

Arrests

* Brian K. Huckstep, 22, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* William Dicus, 47, of Burfordville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Assault

* An assault was reported in the 300 block of Kate Street.

Thefts

* A theft was reported in the 200 block of North West Lane.

* A theft was reported in the 100 block of Bellevue Street.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported in the 400 block of North Russell Avenue.

Miscellaneous

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 200 block of North West Lane.

* A fight was reported in the area of Vera Wagner Drive.
