March is famous for basketball and local athletes had their chance to shine during the 14th Annual Rotary Hoopfest in Jackson.

The tournament offered good competitive play for various age groups starting as young as 10 years old. But, for those looking to pull down some cold cash, the real action was in the King Of The Court Division.

After finishing 2nd in 2008, the team from Tactical Web Solutions arrived at the Jackson Junior High with revenge on their mind. Early morning round robin play allowed all teams to get familiar with their opponents and jockey for position in the finals. The first round of the finals offered strong opposition from the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, but the Tactical team managed to pull out a 10 point victory. That game proved to get the guys warmed up for a showdown against the Texas Roadhouse team in the finals.

Tactical Web Solutions rolled to an easy victory outscoring "Roadhouse" by almost 20 to win the championship and the $300 cash prize.
