Nixon blames report on 'overzealousness'

Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon gave his opinion on how a report that associated third parties with domestic terrorists became a training document for the Highway Patrol. The governor said no one in his office even reviewed the report before it was actually used by the Highway Patrol.

Cape Girardeau to get stimulus money for weatherization

Low- to moderate-income homeowners in Cape Girardeau will get a shot at some federal cash to help them weatherize their homes. The U.S. Department of Energy announced today that the area is receiving $173,000 for weatherization programs.

Woman arrested three times for drunk driving, in three days

A Washington woman is in deep trouble today after she was arrested three times in three days for drunk driving, the Associated Press reports. Police say the woman was arrested all three times in Wisconsin while she was on vacation. Click here to read more on this story.
