SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. - Sargent's Chapel Lutheran Church is offering a $300 reward for information leading to the return of documents stolen from its safe last week. Church treasurer Mark Sebaugh said historical and legal documents were inside the safe. Vandals broke into the rural church building off County Road 234 on March 11 and stole the safe and sound system, with a total value of $1,100. This was the third time in 18 months a person or persons have broken into the church building and stolen items. Anyone with information should contact the Bollinger County Sheriff's Department at 573-238-2633.
