St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church was the setting June 19, 2004, for the wedding of Beth Ann Kania and James Anthony Gosche Jr. The Revs. J. Friedel and Wayne Morgan performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Don and Sally Kania of Lewisburg, Tenn. The groom is the son of Jim and Mary Gosche of Cape Girardeau.
Maid of honor was Marie Kania of Lewisburg, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Tabatha Blackwell of Lewisburg, Caroline Mueller and Amanda Gosche, sister of the groom, both of Cape Girardeau.
Jeffrey Mueller of Cape Girardeau was best man. Groomsmen were Nathan Rues of Indianapolis, Ind., Kyle Bruemmer of Jefferson City, Mo., and Ben Gosche of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Ryan Gosche, cousin of the groom, Ryan Mattes, both of Cape Girardeau; Andy West of Cuba, Mo., cousin of the groom; and Wil Hahn of Maynard, Maine, cousin of the bride.
Flower girl was Rachel Hahn, daughter of Doug and Kathy Hahn of Maynard and cousin of the bride.
Michelle Delaloye attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 18 at their home.
Mrs. Gosche is a 2000 graduate of Marshall County High School, a 2003 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, and is pursuing a master's degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is an English teacher at Ste. Genevieve High School in Ste. Genevieve, Mo.
The groom is a 1997 graduate of Notre Dame High School, and a 2002 graduate of the University of Missouri-Rolla. He is an engineer at TG Missouri Corp.
The couple is residing in Perryville, Mo.
