Cape Girardeau man sentenced for child molestation

A Cape Girardeau man received significant prison time on Monday when he was sentenced to 8 years in prison in connection with the molestation of a 5-year-old girl.
Micheal Brian Hinman, 29, of 224 F Fort St., was sentenced in a county court Monday.

MoDOT to hold public hearing on stimulus projects

MoDOT has a lot of money coming from the federal government ($525 million to be exact). Now the state transportation agency just has to figure out how to spend the cash. MoDOT is holding public hearings around the state to talk with the public about priority projects, including one tonight in Sikeston.
