I was recently reading through a magazine article on great trips to take in the fall. The central point of the article was on driving to look at the tremendous splendor when the trees turn from their vibrant greens to the brilliant yellows and flaming reds. At first I thought, "Driving at $4 a gallon to look at trees? You've got to be kidding." Then I was introduced to Michigan's M119 Tunnel of Trees and I thought "I've spent more than $4 on worse entertainment."
