Terror case dealt blow when key witness sets himself afire

NEW YORK -- A man who set himself on fire in front of the White House this week was a key witness against a sheik accused of funneling millions of dollars to al-Qaida and the Palestinian Islamic group Hamas, defense attorneys said Tuesday.
