Red Hand Day at Cape Central High School

Students at Cape Central High School assembled yesterday for this photo in observance of "Red Hand Day", the global effort to end the use of child soldiers. The photo and 300 paper red hands were sent to the United Nations along with others from around the world. The event was part of the school's community literacy event for February, which discussed the book, "A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier."
