Restaurant recommends: Brenda's Place

Eating at Brenda's Place is like eating in a giant, multi-tabled dining room at Brenda Glueck's house. She comes out of the kitchen to talk to folks, and the entire place is engaged in conversation.

Drink:

Delicious sweet tea

Entree:

Brenda doesn't mess with appetizers. She gets right to the point with entrees. However, she couldn't quite make it to a decision, so we substitued two entrees for the missing appetizer. Here, she says, "It's a tie between our Country Fried Chicken and our Breaded Deep Fried Catfish."

Dessert:

Coconut creme pie, made from scratch daily.
