Southeast prof reappointed to historic preservation council

Southeast Missouri State University history professor Dr. Bonnie Stepenoff will serve another term on the Missouri Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, Gov. Matt Blunt announced Monday. Blunt reappointed Stepenoff to the 11-member council, which reviews applications for placement of buildings and communities on the National Register of Historic Places. Stepenoff, 59, holds a doctorate in American history from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Her reappointment is for a term that will expire Nov. 15, 2011.
