FROHNA, Mo. -- Shannon Renae Mueller and Joshua Paul Miesner were married May 31, 2008, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sylvan Grove, Kan. Brian Tuma performed the ceremony. Organist was Jeffrey Blersch of Seward, Neb.; clarinetist was Erin Miesner of Frohna; trumpeter and soloist was David Hasseldahl of Columbia, Mo.; trombonist was Chris Effken of Friend, Neb.; and flutist was Stephanie Effken of Jamesport, N.Y.

Parents of the couple are Brock and Ruth Mueller of Sylvan Grove, and Fred and Diane Miesner of Frohna.

Maid of honor was Audrey Herrmann of Riverton, Wyo. Bridesmaids were Amanda Crumrine of Leavenworth, Kan., Rachel Chartrand of Red Bud, Ill., Amy Byer of Calverton, N.Y., and Robin Seim of Grand Island, Neb.

Ketan Hein of Lincoln, Neb., was his cousin's best man. Groomsmen were Daniel Bert of Perryville, Mo., Micah Korb of Waseca, Minn., Jarred Hargrove of Perryville, and Shay Mueller of Ellsworth, Kan., brother of the bride. Ushers were Jared Weseloh and Ben Hlad of Sylvan Grove.

Ashley Feldkamp attended the guest book.

The reception was held in Ellsworth. Servers were Kenneth and Shirley Small.

The couple's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 30 at the church.

Mrs. Miesner is a graduate of Sylvan Unified High School. She received a bachelor's degree in music education from Concordia University in Seward.

The groom is a graduate of Perryville High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in secondary education from Concordia Seminary.

After a wedding trip to New York City, the couple is residing in Seward.
