Community Christmas

PraiseSing

Choirs from five area churches will sing in this holiday event. A time of fellowship will follow. Churches participating are Abbey Road Christian, First Baptist Church, Grace United Methodist, Maple United Methodist and Westminster Presbyterian.

Bethlehem Village of Hope

First Baptist Church of Delta will host a re-creation of Bethlehem. Chili, cookies, hot chocolate and coffee will be available.

Children's musical

The children's choir of First Baptist Church of Cape Girardeau will present the Christmas musical "Radio J-O-Y."

Carols and other songs are performed by Grammy and Dove Award winner Greg Nelson and singer David Hamilton, under the direction of Lee Pomeroy Stewart.

Winter Wonderland

of Treasures

This ninth annual holiday event at St. Denis Catholic School features crafts, specialty food items, raffle and direct sale items.

Refreshments and hot chocolate will be served at Caney Fork Baptist Church's Christmas event.

Missouri IMPACT Road Show

The Rev. Dr. John Bennett, outreach coordinator for the ecumenical and interfaith advocacy network Missouri IMPACT, will speak after a presentation of a recently produced video, "Missouri IMPACT: Advocates for Justice". Bennett will also offer reflections on the "Missouri Legislative Process Through the Lens of Justice" and will describe a new legislative advocacy initiative, "Missouri IMPACT Partners for Justice."
