Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Lord L. Gwin, 40, 4217 County Road 620, was arrested on suspicion of assault.

* A suspect is in custody pending formal charges of burglary, stealing, tampering with an airplane and property damage.

* A suspect is in custody pending formal charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

* A custody is in custody pending formal charges of property damage at 45 N. Main St.

* A juvenile was arrested on a curfew violation.

Summonses

* Paul S. Simpson, 24, 637 S. Henderson Ave., received a summons for trespassing.

* Trae C. Bell, 23, 303 W. Washington St., Apt. A, Jackson, received a summons for assault.

* Clarence J. Biggerstaff, 30, 1340 Wayne St., received a summons for assault.

* Brian E. Hill, 33, 1017 Harmony St., received a summons for driving while intoxicated and no headlights at night.

* Jeremy D. Bigham, 19, of Thebes, Ill., received a summons for driving while intoxicated and speeding.

Assault

* An assault was reported.

Thefts

* A suspect is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of stealing clothes at 1400 S. West End Blvd.

* A juvenile was arrested on suspicion of stealing jewelry from Sears Grand, 330 Siemers Drive.

* Tractor Supply Co., 501 S. Kingshighway, reported shoes stolen.

* Electronic items were reported stolen at 401 Washington St.

* Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported the theft of gasoline.

* Rhodes 101, 10 S. West End Blvd., reported the theft of gasoline.

Burglary

* Burglary, the theft of money and damage to a door was reported at 520 Broadway.

Property damage

* Cape Girardeau Public Schools reported damaged vehicle windows at Central Junior High, 205 Caruthers Ave.

Miscellaneous

* Interference with child custody was reported.

* A 20-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
