* Flu vaccines: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at HealthPoint in Jackson. Open to the public. There is a cost, cash or check only. Insurance billing is not available. The vaccine will be administered only to those 18 years of age or older. No appointment necessary.

* Childbirth preparation class: 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the Harrison Room at Southeast Missouri Hospital. Intended to ease expectant participants' concerns and give them a positive, confident attitude toward labor and delivery. To register, call 332-1587.
