Heisserer - 50 years

MR. & MRS. HEISSERER

KELSO, Mo. — Don and Wilma Heisserer of Kelso recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

A Mass of thanksgiving was held at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, with the Revs. Oliver Clavin and Jim Seyer as concelebrants. A reception, dinner and dance was then hosted by their children and grandchildren at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Scott City.

The couple was married Sept. 6, 1938, at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, Mo. Their attendants were Bob Drury, Berniece Seyer Carrig, Catherine Seyer Scherer, Mona Heisserer Nenninger, Carolyn Heisserer Bohnert, Marvin Seyer, Jerome Seyer, and the late Ann Heisserer Drury, Harry Scherer and Martin Jansen.

The Heisserers have six children, Tina (Jeff) Gorman, Terri Heisserer, Trish (Fred Schneider), Charlie (Carol) Heisserer, Craig Heisserer, and Curt (Kerri) Heisserer. They have 14 grandchildren, Will, Paige and Hannah Gorman, Morgan Drury, Christine, Carly and Courtney Schneider, Taylor, Madison and Drew Heisserer, Kelsey, Brandon and Mackenzi Heisserer.
