Police report 9/17/2008Wednesday, September 17, 2008Cape Girardeau The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt. Arrests * Maximillan E. Smith, 21, 1523 N. Spanish St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for second-degree domestic assault. * Donald R. Whitney, 42, of Charleston, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing. * Antwyn L. Williamson, 34, of Charleston, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing. * Bobby J. Hastings, 18, 537 N. Sprigg St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for possession of a controlled substance. * A juvenile was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for possession of a controlled substance. * Rhonda S. Quintana, 38, of St. Louis was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay a fine and cost for failure to pay a sewer bill and a suspended operator's license. She was also arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for a probation violation for driving while revoked for no plates. * Jeremy D. Woods, 21, of Cairo, Ill., was arrested on a McCracken County, Ky., warrant for a probation violation and an Alexander County, Ill., warrant for failure to appear for a weapon offense. Assaults * Two assaults were reported. * A suspect is in custody pending formal charges for first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, third-degree assault and armed criminal action. Thefts * Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported the theft of gasoline. * A wallet was reported stolen at 132 N. Main St. Burglary * A burglary and damage to a spice rack, door and mirror were reported at 537 E. Cape Rock Drive. Property damage * A window was reported broken at 484 Green Acres Drive. * A windshield was reported broken at 140 S. Henderson Ave. Miscellaneous * An animal at large was reported. * Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported at A-1 Mini Storage, 832 S. Kingshighway.
