Firefighters responded to the following calls Saturday:

* At 2:56 p.m., citizen assist in the 1400 block of South West End Boulevard.

* At 4:37 p.m., emergency medical service in the 600 block of North Spanish Street.

* At 4:55 p.m., emergency medical service in the 1100 block of Linden Street.

* At 5:16 p.m., emergency medical service in the 300 block of Kiwanis Street.

* At 8:02 p.m. emergency medical service in the 1000 block of Big Bend Road.

* At 9:06 p.m., emergency medical service in the 600 block of South West End Boulevard.

* At 10:52 p.m., emergency medical service at the 92 mile marker of northbound Interstate 55.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Sunday:

* At 3:53 a.m., emergency medical service in the 500 block of South Benton Street.

* At 5:58 a.m., emergency medical service in the 500 block of South Frederick Street.

* At 8:35 a.m., citizen assist in the unit block of North Fountain Street.

* At 2:40 p.m., an illegal burn in the 100 block of South Pacific Street.
