Danny Robinett

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Danny A. Robinett, 52, of Sikeston died Monday, Sept. 1, 2008, at his brother's home in Oran, Mo.

He was born July 20, 1956, son of Lawrence Robinett and Mary Huering Slayton.

Robinett was self-employed in commercial building construction.

Survivors include his mother, of Sikeston; a son, Joshua Robinett of Hattiesburg, Miss.; two daughters, Stephanie Robinett and Rebecca Morrison, both of Hattiesburg, Miss.; three brothers, Larry Robinett of New Orleans, Bob Robinett of St. Louis and Mike Robinett of Oran; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.

Friends may call from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. David Looney officiating. Burial will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo.
