MR. & MRS. REID

Mr. and Mrs. Amos Reid Jr. of Jackson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner April 11, 2008, at Dexter Bar-B-Que in Cape Girardeau.

Hosts were their son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Lori Reid of Jackson, and grandsons T.J. and Alex Reid.

Reid and Shelba Neace were married April 11, 1958, in Cape Girardeau. They lived in Dutchtown and Cape Girardeau, before moving to Jackson in 2002.

They have two children, Terry (Lori) Reid, and Patricia (Mitch) Herod of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren, T.J. and Alex Reid; Chad, Kerri Jo and Sean Bard; and two great-grandchildren.
