Chester Bridge traffic reduced to one lane
Tuesday, August 5, 2008
PERRY COUNTY, Mo. — Missouri Department of Transportation crews will conduct routine inspection on the Highway 51 bridge from Missouri to Chester, Ill., resulting in one-lane traffic for motorists through most of August. Crews will work 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Aug. 29. Motorists will find one-lane conditions on the bridge with an 11-foot width restriction during this time and should prepare for possible delays and reduced speeds. Drivers are urged to use extreme caution in the work zone. For more information, contact MoDOT's customer service center at 888-275-6636.
