Community cuisine 7-17-08

From 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30 an all-you-can-eat buffet will be held at St. Joseph Parish, Apple Creek, 12 miles south of Perryville. At 2 p.m. the games, country store, fancy stand, raffles for prizes, bingo for quilts and cash will begin in the air-conditioned hall. Rev. Anthony Dattilo will preside at 4 p.m. mass. Free dancing under the pavilion with Doug and Mitch will take place until 11 p.m. Menu includes kettle cooked beef and fried chicken dinner. Carry outs available (under the pavilion). There will be hamburgers, fish, grilled cheese, ice cream, soda and a beer garden. Take I-55 to Biehle exit 123; south on Highway B, go one mile; turn left on Highway F; go five miles to church on left.
