This is a photo I took of Slash at The SHow-Me-Center. When Guns N Roses opened for Alice Cooper.

Ace Frehley was to open for Alice Cooper but was in rehab and could not be found. Alice Cooper saw GNR in Los Angeles at the Whiskey a Go-Go and signed them as his opening act. The Guns N Roses/ Alice Cooper show was in the fall of 1987. Guns and Roses also opened for Aerosmith at the Show Me Center in the summer of 1988. I was at both those shows and LOADED!

Thats right! I have more photos from the Alice/GNR show. (You can see them all at www.myspace.com/timexx also photos of Motley Crue at SMC)

I still have the show poster and ticket stub from the Aerosmith/GNR show.

Faster ******** was also on the show to play with Alice, but they refused to play if GNR was on the bill. Seems Izzy and Slash beat up Faster ********'s drummer and left him ducked tape in a closet with a sign that said GNR was here. He was there for over three hours before he was found. So they would not play if Guns was on the show.

I remember the church protesters standing outside the SMC at this show. What fun that was!
