Lancer W. Cassoutt, 30, of Williams, Ariz., died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004, in Page, Ariz.
He was born Jan. 19, 1974, in Cape Girardeau. He attended Cape Girardeau elementary schools and graduated from Central High School in 1993.
Lancer enjoyed the outdoors and helping people. He was a junior volunteer at Saint Francis Medical Center and won the State Bell Volunteer Award in the junior division in 1991.
Survivors include his father, Wayne Cassoutt of Williams; mother and stepfather, Paula and Rick Smith of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Tammie Kerber of Mount Vernon, Wash.; and two great-aunts, Margie Ervin and Jeanne Brennan of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by twin sisters; paternal grandparents, Orville and Wanda Cassoutt; and maternal grandparents, Paul and Lillian Bridges.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 11, at 6 p.m. at Maple United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Maple UMC Building Fund.
